Structure
Ausbildung programs typically last between two to three and a half years, depending on the profession.
They consist of both practical training at a company (Betrieb) and theoretical instruction at a vocational school (Berufsschule).
The practical training provides hands-on experience in the workplace, allowing trainees to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
The theoretical instruction covers topics relevant to the chosen profession, such as technical skills, industry regulations, safety procedures, and general education subjects like mathematics and German.
